There’s something incredibly brave – and also transformative – about asking for support.

It can feel vulnerable – even a little scary – but when we take that leap, something amazing happens: we invite others in. We gift them the opportunity to show up for us. And in doing so, we give them permission to do the same when they need support.

Support is a two-way exchange of trust and care. It reminds us that we’re not meant to do life solo. That’s the power of community.

This has been front and center in my heart lately as I continue to share about my new book, 101 Mindfulness Practices to Ease Anxiety. Being vulnerable enough to say, “Hey, I poured my heart into this – will you support it?” wasn’t easy at first. But I chose to be open and ask. And what I received in return has absolutely blown me away.

This experience has reminded me that we don’t have to do everything alone, and asking for what we need is not self-serving – it’s connective. It creates space for shared growth, for being seen, for community.

It’s the same shift that happens when we share our gifts, work, or passions. When we lead with service – when we share what we do and why we do it, not for praise but to help others – we move from “me” to “we.”

So thank you – from the bottom of my heart – to everyone who has supported my book. To those who’ve ordered a copy, left a review, or shared it with your circle: you have no idea how much that means to me.

And if you haven’t yet and feel called, here’s me being brave enough to ask again: please consider ordering a copy (or leaving a review if you already have). Your support helps this book reach others who might truly need it.

Let people surprise you. Ask for what you need. Share from your heart. Let’s keep giving one another the opportunity to show up. Let’s keep asking. Let’s keep showing up for one another in meaningful ways. Let’s keep proving how powerful community can be.
