Cherry Berry “Nice Cream” Dairy-Free Ice Cream Recipe

Nothing says summertime quite like a big bowl of ice cream. Yet many people either can’t or don’t choose to eat dairy, but have no fear . . . this “nice cream” won’t leave you with a sugar hangover or a bloated belly from all the dairy.
“Nice cream” is all the rage as a healthy, delicious, and dairy-free alternative from the traditional ice cream treat. Made with all the creamy healthy fat from coconut milk and antioxidant rich berries and black cherries, this is a “nice cream” dessert you can enjoy without the guilt or the bloat.
Easy Cherry Berry Nice Cream Recipe
Say hello to delicious, refreshing, decadently creamy “nice cream” with this easy to make and sure to satisfy recipe. Yummm!
Ingredients:
- 1 can organic full fat coconut milk (or coconut cream)
- 1 cup organic frozen berries
- 1 cup organic frozen dark cherries
- 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
Instructions:
Place canned coconut milk in the refrigerator overnight. Open the can upside down so you can pour off the coconut water.
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy. Freeze for 1-2 hours for thicker ice cream texture. Recipe makes approximately 4 servings. To double, simply double each ingredient.
