The secret to a great guacamole is simplicity. This guac only has two ingredients (only seven if you include the spices) and is seriously so amazing.

The BEST Guacamole Recipe

Makes two servings. Five-minute prep and cook time


  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ½ lime
  • Himalayan salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Garlic powder (to taste)
  • Onion powder (to taste)
  • Two dashes sage (the secret ingredient)




Cut your avocado and place it in a bowl. Squeeze the ½ lime over the bowl. Mash. Add spices and mash some more.
Want to give it a little kick? Add finely chopped jalapeño to taste.
