The Eight Limb Path Explained in this Beautiful Yoga Video
Yoga has a different definition to everyone, but many yogis follow the Yamas and the Niyamas as part of their daily yoga practice.
In this simple but powerful video, Simon Borg-Olivier (yoga teacher and Co-Director of Yoga Synergy, an Australian yoga school) explains the Yamas and Niyamas, how he translates the Eight Limb Path, and his beautifully balanced asana practice.
On the Niyamas, Borg-Olivier calls them “the passionate inner quest to remove the obstacles to happiness and loving connection.”
Simon goes on to explain what he considers to be the “most important yoga” and his insight is something everyone should take 5 minutes to hear. To get the most from this video, try watching the video, then playing it again but only to hear his message.
