Here Are 7 Yoga Retreats You Don’t Want to Miss In 2018

Yoga retreats are the perfect opportunity to restore, reflect, rejuvenate, and renew. They give us the opportunity to step away from the busy, and choose to invest in our own health and wellbeing.

When we’re removed from our daily responsibilities and habits, we can be free to be at peace. We can examine our unhealthy patterns, and meet whatever rises up with wonder and kindness.

The Benefits of Yoga Retreats

In my experience, when moving through the day to day, there can be a part inside me that shuts off. I can lose my presence when I move too fast, or get over-consumed with work life, city life, relationship life, parenting life, or doing life.

Yoga retreats offer an opportunity to tune in. To refuel, reignite, and remember the divinity and wisdom within.

Yoga retreats invite us to slow down, and they offer all sorts of possibilities to play and see ourselves more clearly. There’s space to listen to the quiet whisper in each of our hearts that often can’t be heard through all the external noise, and there’s time to tend to that whisper.

2018 Yoga Retreats: The Takeaway

I’ve found that to thoroughly nourish my being, it works best to completely step away from the doing, remove myself from the distractions, and tired worn-out patterns.
In retreating I create space from the way I’ve been living, providing clarity and cultivating wisdom so I can decide what I want to keep on doing, and even to reignite passion and pleasure, fueling a fuller and more joyful way of living.
Just remember this: we’re worth it. And many of us can often forget it. As they say, we cannot pour into the cup of another, not even our mother or brother, if we let our own well run dry.
