When you’re ready to begin your exercises, remember that this is good for all levels of fitness. If you ever plateau, add weight in one hand to throw your balance off – you can always add more weight to both sides as needed.
Pro Tip: We know how excited you’ll be to jump on the StrongBoard and get started, but take time first to read the instructions! Stepping onto the balance board is an entirely new sensation that will test your strength and stability – remember that it’s an unstable platform, so get on and off with bent knees. To start, place one foot on one end with enough weight to compress the platform down until it touches the base. Now you are stabilized. As you’re ready, keep your weight on that end and carefully place your other foot on the opposite end of the board until you find your equilibrium. We recommend doing this against a wall or a ledge for added balance until you feel comfortable doing it on your own.
